Grand simplicity in a bucolic setting Originally designed as a multi-building boutique farm, this 3-bedroom house and guest quarters became the permanent home for a young island family. This 141-acre heavily wooded estate features a south-facing meadow ideal for grazing horses and an iconic stately home. A study in reductionism; we aspired to elicit the impressions of a grand manor house while providing only what was essential. A deer-proof center court provides ample flower gardens and a wind-protected patio for large family gatherings.
